Can be good with the family but lacks intimacy as a couple. Lots of people opposite and children in the other cabins. Friendly welcome but more of a camping level than a “top-of-the-range” cabin with, among other things, reflections on “people” while talking about former customers who do not take off their shoes, who dirty, ... in short, subjects that we do not want to talk when you arrive. Then we are asked not to use the mezzanine of the cabin because it is already prepared for the next customer! So we rented a rather expensive cabin but we are asked not to "use it" to avoid subsequent cleaning ?! I worked in the hotel industry and I admit that there, in terms of reception, everything needs to be reviewed.

Cabin tastefully decorated and equipped. Charming and welcoming owners. Unusual distribution of breakfasts, which are also prepared with good products and really tasty. Private spa appreciated, only can be a bit noisy for neighbors in high power use. In summary excellent stay, experience to renew.

Hello Madam, Hello Sir, We always take all feedback into account, even when it's mixed. Our cabins are indeed designed for a couple or a couple with children. While the cabins are visible from one another, we've ensured that the terraces are oriented to avoid overlooking each other. Furthermore, the Jacuzzis, as you can see in the photos, are surrounded by curtains to ensure privacy. We've planted giant bamboo between each cabin; it's growing very quickly, further enhancing the existing privacy screens. Regarding the welcome, it's often difficult to strike a balance between those who want to chat at length and those who prefer to enjoy their stay without too much interaction. We put our heart and soul into finishing the cabins ourselves. We are sincerely sorry that you took offense at our suggestion to remove your shoes to avoid damaging the new parquet flooring. A suggestion is not an obligation. Furthermore, given the family-run nature of our business, we personally handle all cleaning with great care. We assure you that we adhere to all special Covid-related health and safety protocols. The jacuzzis are, of course, drained, cleaned, and degreased; we remove all the filters and disinfect everything with alcohol between each guest. Regarding the mezzanine, we had taken care to prepare four beds (one double and two singles) for aesthetic reasons; however, as you booked the cabin for two people, we advised you to use only the double bed. Similarly, regarding our location, we are situated in the heart of the Périgord Noir's "golden triangle," less than 10 minutes from Sarlat-la-Canéda and 15 minutes from some of France's most beautiful villages, such as Beynac, La Roque-Gageac, Domme, and others. We are surprised that you did not appreciate this exceptional setting, which appeals to so many of our guests. Please know, however, that we take your comments into account, and we hope that you still enjoyed your stay with us. As evidenced by our combined reviews, 98% of our feedback is positive, which motivates us to continue striving for excellence every day.
