A yurt is a tent with a collapsible wooden framework, covered in felt. It is the traditional habitat of many Central Asian nomads, particularly the Mongolians and the Turkmen. The Monglian yurt first appeared approximately 2,000 years ago and has substantially evolved over the centuries. They are most often seen in Kirghizstan, Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan and obviously in Mongolia. It is a family lodging, with one single room centred around a stove. There are several beds which serve as seats in daytime, wardrobes and/or chest of drawers, a coffee table where food is placed. The only opening is the front door, opposite which the head of the family's bed is traditionally located. It is easy to dismantle and to re-erect in a few hours. In Mongolia, more than a million people still live in yurts today. .
We like: Putting ourselves in the nomads' shoes and discovering this totally new type of unusual accommodation.

We had a pleasant stay, only downside the sanitary facilities far from the accommodation, not practical at night.

A wonderful moment for my daughter's birthday, the change of scenery was total and the setting magnificent. The yurt was really very beautiful and welcoming, to be redone!

We took a night in a yurt and spent a good night in peace and waking up with the birds. The packed lunch and breakfast are plentiful. The weather was nice and we were able to eat on the terrace. Nothing to say except that maybe we will come back to try another type of accommodation.

A real moment of grace this night spent with family in a Yurt! The domain, the yurt, the meals, the natural swimming pool...the service and the welcome, everything is just perfect! Only one regret for us; not having planned to stay more than one night! We will come back for sure! Thank you to all those who work to ensure that these places exist and are maintained!

Lack of cleanliness in the yurt. The shared toilets and showers are very basic, in very poor condition. No lighting at night on the site.

Everything went very well: clean, comfortable and exotic yurt. Friendly welcome and hearty and tasty packed lunches. Very nice weekend with the family!

A yurt, very good, only problem, more gas for heating, a little light the benevolence of the customers, at this price! otherwise the place is great!

After a long day in the car we had an excellent welcome at Ecôtalia. We slept well ... and the morning after we had an excellent breakfast.

We loved the massages and the yurt with its packed lunches, but we liked the noise inherent in the pool and the trampoline.

Just a note, there were 3 of us, there was a double bed and two single beds. But having automatically thought that 2 people would sleep in the double bed, I slept in a bed without sheets (I found the feeling of the fabric strange but I really realized it the next day) So just think about it specify. Otherwise nothing to complain about, calm and soothing place, good breakfasts, the swimming area is very pleasant. I recommend that change of scenery and that resource.

Hello, We are sorry that your stay at the Domaine did not meet your expectations. We are quite surprised by your comment regarding cleanliness, as the quality of our cleaning team's work is actually a strong point, regularly highlighted by our guests. The yurt is an unusual outdoor accommodation with a very distinctive character; perhaps its style did not appeal to you. Upon your departure, you mentioned "this lack of cleanliness" concerning the shared bathroom, not the yurt itself. As we explained to you, our team makes it a point of honor to rigorously maintain all areas of the Domaine. They even clean several times a day, including communal areas such as the shared bathroom. However, we obviously cannot clean right after every guest. We are sorry if you did not find the shared bathroom as you had hoped. This can be a drawback of shared facilities. Perhaps more comfortable accommodation with a private bathroom would have better met your expectations.
