Perched 8m high above the ground, la Cabane du "Grand Hêtre" was the first cabin built in the Fontaine-Chatel's trees. The cabin can welcome up to 2 people. This tree house the ideal place to enjoy a change of scenery in the middle of nature for a small break.
We like: the terrace, slightly higher up, perfect to enjoy an unobstructed view of the landscapes.

Nice habitat, too bad the light side was so weak, more LED lighting, for example. Would have been welcome.

We had a good weekend in the cabins, 2 downsides: the showers with little flow and lukewarm + the kerosene stove which did not heat up enough. Otherwise everything was perfect, very clean cabins, perfect welcome, very good breakfast.

Charming little cabin in the middle of the forest, heated which is a plus and comfortable bed. Small flat on the breakfast which could be a little more generous and with products which deserve to be more artisanal. However, we had a great experience, I recommend!

Unique concept, to do with family or as a couple, summer season recommended, very nice cabin, little cocoon. Nice access (ladders, zip line or bridge) and accessible to almost everyone. Be careful if you feel dizzy
