The dome offers an unusual, exotic, and truly unique stay. A timeless experience that I wholeheartedly recommend. The hosts warned us and were honest about the temperatures during our stay; indeed, you shouldn't be too sensitive to the cold, but I think that actually adds to the charm of the experience. The dome is very well-equipped; we weren't cold at all during the night. The stay is original, exotic, and definitely worth trying. I would do it again without hesitation!

We were so looking forward to discovering Jepo's Dome in Ilonse and spending a night immersed in nature. The view is absolutely magnificent, the setting is exceptional, and the accommodation itself is very charming. However, our experience was significantly impacted by the cold. Despite a very good conversation with the owner, who had advised us to bring warm clothes, we spent the night shivering. The wood-burning stove unfortunately wasn't enough to heat the space, which clearly lacks insulation for sub-zero temperatures. At this time of year, it would be more honest to either close the dome or offer a price reduction, as the level of comfort is clearly not the same as in warmer weather. It's a real shame, because without that freezing night, the experience would have been perfect. The place is superb, but we don't recommend it at this time of year.

Bonjour, Votre réponse à notre avis est pour le moins surprenante. Depuis le début y compris dans notre commentaire nous avons pourtant essayé d’être compréhensibles et mesurés. Mais il faut être honnête : à ce tarif-là, la qualité de la nuit doit suivre le prix, et ce n’est clairement pas le cas. Dormir avec une couette trempée, ressentir de l’humidité permanente dans le lit et tomber malade ensuite pendant une semaine, ce n’est pas une “variation de confort entre personnes”. C’est un vrai problème d’isolation et de qualité du logement. À ce niveau-là, ce n’est plus un simple inconfort : c’est une défaillance qui ne devrait pas exister dans un hébergement commercialisé, surtout à ce prix. Nous vous demandons simplement de prendre vos responsabilités, d’arrêter de minimiser ce que nous avons vécu et de revoir l’état du dôme pour éviter que d’autres clients ne subissent la même expérience.

At the top, nothing to complain about, would miss the little extra of the jacuzzi haha, but apart from that it was perfect, if it was cheaper we would have taken several nights.

A rejuvenating weekend in a beautiful natural setting. The facilities are great, and everything is well-designed and of high quality. The instructions are very detailed and clear, making it easy to organize. We'll definitely be back!

Bonjour, Merci d’avoir pris le temps de partager votre retour détaillé sur votre séjour au Dôme de Jèpo. Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié le cadre, la vue et le charme du lieu. Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que vous ayez eu froid durant la nuit. Le dôme reste un hébergement insolite, avec une isolation plus limitée qu’un logement traditionnel, et la sensation de confort thermique peut varier d’une personne à l’autre, surtout en période de températures négatives. Pour les séjours en hiver, nous mettons à disposition un poêle à granulés, plusieurs plaids, des bouillottes ainsi qu’une couette et une couverture épaisses, et nous prévenons nos voyageurs de prévoir des vêtements bien chauds. De nombreux clients ayant séjourné récemment en période de grand froid nous ont fait des retours très positifs sur le confort, mais nous comprenons que cela n’ait pas été votre ressenti. Votre avis nous aide à mieux informer les futurs voyageurs sur les conditions d’un séjour en hiver. Nous espérons malgré tout que vous garderez un bon souvenir du lieu.
