Dôme de Jèpo: an unforgettable immersion in nature You're going to love this cocoon of comfort and serenity
Dive into a unique experience at the Dôme de Jèpo, an unconventional retreat that blends contemporary design with an exceptional natural setting. Perched at altitude, this geodesic dome offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains — perfect for escaping the everyday.
Inside, natural light floods the space through an architecture that opens fully onto the outdoors. The premium bedding and warm décor invite you to unwind and rest. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed for your well-being, with modern amenities that respect the environment.
A terrace with panoramic views — Enjoy privileged moments on a private terrace, set up for convivial gatherings over a coffee or aperitif as the sun sets.
The Dôme de Jèpo promises a memorable stay, where comfort, nature and serenity come together.
A pellet stove is installed
Although the dome is equipped with a high-performance pellet stove, it remains a tent at heart. The stove adds comfort, but it cannot work miracles: when outside temperatures drop below zero, the interior will not reach particularly high levels of warmth. The dome is an unconventional accommodation — cosy, but subject to weather conditions.
Expect an indoor temperature approximately 15 degrees higher than outside.
Tap water and shower water may not be functional in winter (December and January) due to potential freezing when temperatures turn negative. Drinking water will in all cases be provided in bottles and will be available, but the shower may be unusable.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback on your stay at the Dôme de Jèpo. We are delighted that you enjoyed the setting, the view, and the charm of the place. We are sincerely sorry that you were cold during the night. The dome remains an unusual accommodation, with less insulation than traditional lodging, and the feeling of thermal comfort can vary from person to person, especially during periods of sub-zero temperatures. For winter stays, we provide a pellet stove, several blankets, hot water bottles, as well as a thick duvet and blanket, and we advise our guests to bring warm clothing. Many guests who have stayed recently during periods of extreme cold have given us very positive feedback on the comfort, but we understand that this was not your experience. Your feedback helps us to better inform future guests about the conditions of a winter stay. We hope that you will nevertheless have fond memories of the place.
