The dome offers an unusual, exotic, and truly unique stay. A timeless experience that I wholeheartedly recommend. The hosts warned us and were honest about the temperatures during our stay; indeed, you shouldn't be too sensitive to the cold, but I think that actually adds to the charm of the experience. The dome is very well-equipped; we weren't cold at all during the night. The stay is original, exotic, and definitely worth trying. I would do it again without hesitation!

We were so looking forward to discovering Jepo's Dome in Ilonse and spending a night immersed in nature. The view is absolutely magnificent, the setting is exceptional, and the accommodation itself is very charming. However, our experience was significantly impacted by the cold. Despite a very good conversation with the owner, who had advised us to bring warm clothes, we spent the night shivering. The wood-burning stove unfortunately wasn't enough to heat the space, which clearly lacks insulation for sub-zero temperatures. At this time of year, it would be more honest to either close the dome or offer a price reduction, as the level of comfort is clearly not the same as in warmer weather. It's a real shame, because without that freezing night, the experience would have been perfect. The place is superb, but we don't recommend it at this time of year.

Hello, Your response to our review is, to say the least, surprising. From the beginning, including in our comment, we have tried to be understanding and measured. But let's be honest: at this price, the quality of the night's sleep should match the price, and that is clearly not the case. Sleeping with a soaking wet duvet, feeling constant dampness in the bed, and then being sick for a week is not a "comfort variation between individuals." It's a real problem with insulation and the quality of the accommodation. At this level, it's no longer a simple inconvenience: it's a defect that should not exist in commercial accommodation, especially at this price. We simply ask you to take responsibility, stop downplaying our experience, and address the condition of the dome to prevent other guests from having the same experience.

At the top, nothing to complain about, would miss the little extra of the jacuzzi haha, but apart from that it was perfect, if it was cheaper we would have taken several nights.

A rejuvenating weekend in a beautiful natural setting. The facilities are great, and everything is well-designed and of high quality. The instructions are very detailed and clear, making it easy to organize. We'll definitely be back!

We are sincerely sorry that you were cold during the night. The dome remains an unusual accommodation, with less insulation than traditional lodging, and the feeling of thermal comfort can vary from person to person, especially during periods of sub-zero temperatures. For winter stays, we provide a pellet stove, several blankets, hot water bottles, as well as a thick duvet and blanket, and we advise our guests to bring warm clothing. Many guests who have stayed recently during periods of extreme cold have given us very positive feedback on the comfort, but we understand that this was not your experience. Your feedback helps us to better inform future guests about the conditions of a winter stay. We hope that you will nevertheless have fond memories of the place.
