The domain
In the heart of the Cathar Country, the “Le Roc del Rey” estate is a small nature campsite known for its calm. The site has a very pretty swimming pool with a superb view of the Pyrenees mountain range. You will find many trails around this campsite, including one which leads to the edge of a river.
Nearby, Lac de Montbel offers many leisure activities: nautical base, sailing, windsurfing, paddle, canoeing, pedal boating, fishing, swimming. You can also stroll there on foot, on horseback, by bike and mountain bike.
The greenway is just 6 km away and the establishment offers mountain bike and electric VTC rental.
Ideally located in the middle of a good number of tourist sites, you can discover the medieval castles of Carcassonne, Foix, Montségur and Roquefixade, discover the fortified village of Camon, the castle of Lagarde, the medieval city of Mirepoix which presents every Monday morning a of the most beautiful markets in the region with excellent local products. For hiking lovers, you will find many trails around this campsite.

We love to travel and have spent a long time abroad. On our return, we decided to find a nice place to develop a tourist activity and came across this small, unusual campsite in the middle of nature. An ideal place to recharge your batteries and disconnect.
