A very old farmhouse in the Ardèche, once a silkworm farm, now a private retreat nestled in lush greenery where life slows down.
Le Petit Moras invites you to stay in a bohemian caravan or a unique tent. You’ll wake up to the sound of birdsong in the background and then… nothing else. Here, you really come to relax. Set off on an adventure during the day, or do absolutely nothing. A book, a glass of wine, a refreshing dip in the pool. Later, the sauna, whilst the sun slowly sinks below the horizon.
No rush, no schedule, no crowds. Le Petit Moras is truly a destination for outdoor enthusiasts. You can go on lovely walks in the immediate vicinity. Some start almost on your doorstep. Just a few hundred metres away is also the Voie Douce de la Payre, a car-free cycle path stretching over 21 kilometres, which winds through the lush valley of the little river Payre.
The connection to the ViaRhôna, one of the most beautiful and famous cycle paths in France, is a major asset. Fancy exploring a picturesque village in the Ardèche at your own pace, then relaxing on a pleasant terrace? You’ll find plenty of lovely spots here!
During a summer holiday in the Ardèche, we stumbled upon this former farmhouse quite by chance. After the viewing, we settled down on a café terrace in Chomérac. We were completely blown away! It was clear: this was our place. The authentic architecture, the beautiful details, the atmosphere, that immediate feeling of coming home, and the enchanting surroundings… everything felt just right. The very next day — we were already back on the motorway towards the Netherlands — the estate agent called to say our offer had been accepted.A place like this isn’t meant to be kept to yourself, we decided. That’s why we now share our domain with guests from near and far, just as the previous owners once did. There’s plenty of space!We pull out all the stops to make your stay with us a true celebration.
