The domain
Located in the Drôme department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and just a few kilometres from Valence, this charming 18th-century farmhouse is set in the peaceful village of Charmes-sur-l’Herbasse, known as the birthplace of the famous Facteur Cheval. The property features a main house, an independent gîte and a tiny house added in 2021, all set within a large landscaped garden.
The fully enclosed grounds offer a calm and secure setting, particularly well suited to families with children. Parking is available at the entrance of the property and includes a fast electric vehicle charging station, allowing the rest of the site to remain car-free. Guests can enjoy access to the entire 10,000 m² garden, ideal for outdoor activities and relaxation.
From May to September, an above-ground swimming pool is available for cooling off during warm days. For an even more relaxing experience, a Nordic hot tub can be booked and heated in advance, providing a peaceful moment under the starry skies of the Drôme, with a drink in hand.
