Located on the Costa Azahar, close to Peñíscola, Camping L’Orangeraie in Càlig is set in a typically Mediterranean environment, between sea, nature and authentic villages in the Castellón province, in the Valencian Community.
Surrounded by olive trees, orange groves and carob trees, the property offers a მშვიდ and natural setting just a few minutes from the coastline. The village of Càlig, with its small streets, local shops and relaxed atmosphere, provides a glimpse of traditional Spanish life. Each year in August, local festivities bring the village to life with a vibrant and authentic atmosphere.
On-site, the experience is designed to be welcoming and family-friendly, with a programme of activities suitable for all ages. During the high season, entertainment is offered daily from late June to early September, along with weekend activities starting in spring. Themed evenings add to the experience and create a lively yet relaxed atmosphere.
The aquatic area is a central feature of the campsite. It includes several pools, one with massage jets, a children’s pool with a slide, as well as a paddling pool and solarium. In this relaxing environment, morning aquagym sessions are also available.
A bar-restaurant located near the pool offers a variety of food and drinks throughout the day. Guests can enjoy refreshments, snacks and simple dishes on-site or as takeaway, including pizzas, tapas and casual dining options.
The campsite offers a range of recent accommodations as well as spacious pitches. The overall design blends into the natural surroundings, with a focus on wood-inspired aesthetics. This diversity allows for different types of stays, from budget-friendly options to more comfortable holidays.
The location also makes it easy to explore the Costa Azahar, which stretches between the Ebro Delta and the city of Valencia. Nearby towns such as Vinaròs, Benicarló and Peñíscola offer a mix of seaside activities, local culture and historical sites. Peñíscola is particularly known for its rocky peninsula, castle and whitewashed houses.
Within less than 10 km, the coastline reveals a wide variety of beaches across a 20 km stretch: sandy beaches, secluded coves, lively seaside areas and protected natural spots. During the summer season, warm sea temperatures and Mediterranean landscapes create ideal conditions to enjoy the coast from sunrise to evening.
